WORLD CROWNS  (mostly) Taiwan through Zimbabwe (N.F.S)

    This collection started out with circulating (in most cases circulated) dollar size crowns. The highlight of the original collection is the 1938 crown that
my father brought back from Australia, where he was stationed  in World War II.

    In my enthusiasm to expand the number of countries represented, I started accumulating  “noncirculating legal tender” pieces, and later fantasy pieces,
to the point that fewer than 100 of the 400+ pieces represented here could ever have circulated as money.

       If I had to do it over again, I would draw a line in the sand:   Only acquire pieces that have circulated, i.e. nothing higher than a grade of XF!!
